Sotto Index is a directory of beauty and wellness providers, built from recommendations that already appear in public online conversations. This page explains what information we collect from you and how we use it.
What we collect
If you choose to unlock the full directory, we ask for your name and email address. That's the only personal information we collect — there's no account to create and we never ask for a password or payment details.
Your browser also stores a small local flag that remembers you've already unlocked the directory, so you're not asked again on your next visit. It stays on your device and isn't used for tracking or advertising.
How we use it
- To send occasional updates about new or updated providers in the directory.
- To understand roughly how many people are finding the directory useful.
We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with advertisers.
Where it's stored
Names and emails are stored with Supabase, our database provider, and the site itself is hosted on Vercel. Both are standard, reputable infrastructure providers used by many small applications like this one.

Provider names, locations, and specialties shown on this site are summarized from publicly visible comments and recommendations, not submitted by the providers themselves. If you're a listed provider and want something corrected or removed, contact us using the details below.
Children
Sotto Index isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and adjust the date above.
